The joint venture, Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Works Co., Ltd, which is invested by Hong Kong CITIC Pacific and Jiangyin Steel Works, was established.
Hong Kong CITIC Pacific acquired Hubei Yegang and established Hubei Xinyegang Steel Co., Ltd. (Currently named as Daye Special Steel).
Acquired the coking project under construction of Tongling Yaxing Coking Co., Ltd. and established Tongling Pacific Special Materials Co., Ltd.
Acquired Qingdao Special Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and thus perfected its strategic layout.
Acquired VALIN Wuxi Steel, and and renamed it to Jingjiang Special Steel Co., Ltd.
Acquired “Zhejiang Gross Seamless Steel Tube Co., Ltd.” and renamed it to “Zhejiang Pacific Seamless Steel Tube”, which formed the “Major Extended Processing Bases” with Pacific Special Steel Suspension (Jinan).
Launched an overall listing, and the listed company is renamed to “CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd.”
Acquired 20.4% equity of Tianjin Pipe Co., Ltd. and be fully responsible for the production, operation and management.
Won the bid for 60% equity of Shanghai Electric Group Steel Pipe, and obtained the controlling stake of Tianjin Pipe Co., Ltd.
